Glassnode spotted a key shift: Bitcoin’s MVRV ratio has climbed back above its 365-day average. The same crossover marked the start of the 2019 and 2023 rallies.
The move came as price recovered. Bitcoin briefly touched $87,000 this week, the first time since January, while spot ETFs pulled in nearly $999 million on September 21 alone.
The picture is mixed. Some 1.07 million BTC were acquired between $83,000 and $86,000, leaving holders close to breakeven. At the same time, fewer than a quarter of tracked altcoins sit above their average acquisition price.
Glassnode sees the $95,000–$97,000 zone as the next meaningful test if the rally continues, with profit-taking still relatively light so far.
