On 14 October cnLedger shared teardown photos on X showing hardware implants inside Ledger Nano X wallets. Chinese component markings and factory-style BOM numbering suggest the devices were built on an industrial line rather than modified by hand.
Labels include the code «欧亚版» for the Eurasian market, plus version stamps V1.1 for the Nano X and V1.2 for the Flex cover. The same series AC-A220x appeared in Specimen B, purchased on Amazon Japan and shipped from Malaysia.
The thin black board sits under the screen, reads the 24-word seed over the SPI bus and transmits it via the Nordic nRF9151 cellular module. Because the original Secure Element is untouched, Ledger’s Genuine Check still passes.
Ledger itself confirmed the implants on 13 October in devices sold by CryptoBilis in Southeast Asia. The Eurasian marking and reports from MediaMarkt supplied by Aqipa indicate Europe was also in the target zone.
