Grayscale Zcash Product Closes In on $1B

Zcash has surged and taken the Grayscale Zcash product along with it. ZCSH, the first U.S. vehicle offering direct exposure to the token, is now nearing one billion dollars in assets.

Trading on NYSE Arca began on August 25. By early September the fund had already crossed the half-billion mark, lifted both by fresh inflows and by the rising dollar value of the ZEC it holds.

Not every dollar of growth comes from new money; much of it simply reflects the token’s own rally. Observers will be watching net inflows to gauge genuine institutional appetite.

ZEC’s privacy-focused design has set it apart in the current altcoin rally and appears to be drawing steady Wall Street attention.
