Tesla Removes Dogecoin Note from Primary Payments Support Page

Tesla has taken down the reference to accepting Dogecoin from its main Tesla Shop payments support page. The line that previously stated the cryptocurrency could be used for select items is no longer visible in the English version.

Localized pages for Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Belgium and Denmark still display the same statement. The dedicated Dogecoin support page on the Tesla site also remains live and continues to list $DOGE as an accepted payment option.

The company has issued no official explanation for the removal. This follows Elon Musk’s earlier decision to halt Bitcoin payments over environmental concerns, though no similar announcement has been made regarding Dogecoin.
