On October 7 Paxos announced that its brokerage partners can now offer XRP. The token becomes available for trading, custody and transfers on the same regulated platform already used by PayPal, Venmo and Charles Schwab.
The move follows the December 2025 conditional approval by the OCC to convert Paxos into a national trust bank and the November acquisition of wallet firm Fordefi. By mid-June the roster of supported assets had doubled to 29 tokens.
XRP has circulated since 2012, holds a market capitalization near 95 billion dollars and sits in over 8.1 million wallets. Transactions on the XRP Ledger typically settle in three to five seconds.
Each partner decides which coins and features to expose to retail users. The addition of XRP simply widens the menu available inside major financial apps without forcing those firms to build their own crypto stack.
