Fresh signs that the Federal Reserve may hike rates have split crypto price action. Yi Lihua, founder of Liquid Capital, laid out the two clearest outcomes for the days ahead.
A rate increase could push bitcoin briefly under 76 000 dollars and trigger sharp swings before any recovery, he said. If the Fed holds off, the existing uptrend is likely to keep running.
Yi therefore prefers plain spot positions over leveraged bets. He sees the strongest upside in bitcoin and ether on the spot market, in core transaction infrastructure that could multiply returns dramatically, and in moving equity trading and IPOs onto blockchains—an idea also backed by Binance founder Changpeng Zhao.
