Aptos has wrapped up its four-year vesting schedule for early backers and core contributors on October 12. Monthly $APT issuance fell from 11.31 million to 4.54 million tokens, a nearly 60% drop.
At genesis, developers received 190 million tokens and investors 134.78 million. After a one-year cliff, these allocations were released monthly through month 48. Going forward, only the 4.54 million tokens allocated to community and foundation pools continue to unlock gradually until 2032.
Staking rewards have become the primary source of new supply. With 763 million $APT staked at a 2.6% rate, the network now creates roughly 19.8 million tokens annually. All transaction fees are burned, with about 1.9 million $APT already destroyed since launch.
