Jack Yi of LD Capital pointed out that Bitcoin’s recent moves echo the period right before the strong 2020 rally. After five straight days of gains starting August 17, the coin entered a correction that lasted roughly 19 days and stayed within a $6,000 range.
Yi described the pullback as typical for an uptrend and warned traders against shorting during such phases. He added that bullish signals are also appearing in certain altcoins beyond Bitcoin.
Attention also turned to David Hoffman, co-founder of Bankless, who sold all his Ethereum in May and rotated into VVV, NEAR, ZEC, HYPE and LIT. Since then LIT has risen 288 %, ZEC 121 %, while ETH gained only about 17 % over the same stretch.
