NEAR rally leaves two big short sellers nursing nearly 26 million dollars in losses

A swift climb in NEAR has turned two large short bets into heavy unrealized losses totaling roughly 25.9 million dollars.

Wallet 0xfe7c is short 4.32 million NEAR entered at an average of 2.55 dollars; its paper loss now sits near 12.44 million. On 26 September the holder trimmed 771 700 tokens and locked in a 1.77 million dollar realized loss.

Wallet 0xdd53 holds a similar 4.31 million token short opened at 2.31 dollars, carrying an unrealized deficit of about 13.45 million. Since 24 September it has closed only a few thousand tokens. The same trader also reduced a ZEC short today, booking a 238 thousand dollar loss while the remaining position shows another 9.23 million in unrealized red ink.
