US bitcoin ETFs saw $244 million flow out on Thursday, with Fidelity’s FBTC accounting for roughly 81 % of the total. The two-day combined outflow now exceeds $731 million, and total assets under management have slipped to $104.91 billion.
Wednesday had already been brutal, with a record $487 million leaving the funds since late June; BlackRock’s IBIT alone lost more than $207 million that day. Thursday’s redemptions were spread across several issuers, leaving only Franklin’s EZBC in positive territory.
Ether ETFs extended their eight-day losing run, shedding another $72.5 million. BlackRock’s ETHA absorbed most of the damage, while a handful of smaller products, including Fidelity’s FETH, posted modest inflows.
Bitcoin closed the week around $82,390, down 2.9 % from the previous Friday, even as cumulative net inflows since the January 2024 launch remain above $57 billion.
