Spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US took in $6.25 billion during August and September 2026. Over the same stretch Bitcoin climbed more than 30 percent, moving from the $60,000 area in mid-August to levels above $80,000.
The inflows match the scale seen in autumn 2025 just before the coin hit its then-record near $126,000. Outflows have dried up lately, and the funds still added $31 million on 28 September alone.
The process works like this: fresh money into ETF shares forces issuers or their partners to buy actual Bitcoin to back the new units. That buying shows up as real demand on the market.
Similar inflows hit ETFs tracking Ethereum, Solana, XRP and several other tokens, with most posting gains through August and early September.
