AAVE kept climbing even after the October 1 exploit. The token sat near $181, up 8.49% on the day and 27.6% for the week, pushing its market cap to $2.79 billion on volume above $640 million.
Attackers hit a custom Safe module called FlashLoopAdapter used for Aave V3 leveraged loops. They drained roughly 1,306 weETH from one wallet and 6.4 weETH from another, later converting part of the haul into about 114 ETH.
Total losses came to around $305,000. Price action stayed strong above every major EMA — 20-day at $150, 50-day at $133, and the 100- and 200-day lines near $119–120. Immediate resistance sits at $187, with the $190–200 zone next in sight.
